Summertime at the beach. Is there anything better? Well, a summertime beach elopement could be just perfect!
In the times of coronavirus getting a fabulous picnic together and saying your vows in the waves is kind of as good as we think it can get, right? Just you and the love of your life.
Beach bouquet vibes
I loved creating this vibrant wedding bouquet. The stunning pink and yellow Gloriosa Lily really make a statement. I used yellow Calla Lily and roses to really echo the colour of the sand. And the Miss Piggy salmon coloured rose also to bring out the warm tones in the Gloriosa.
The green tendrills from the Gloriosa add some depth in the greenery which I teamed with lush green Sedum.
I knew this beach elopment wedding location would have grasses in the background. So I thought that grasses at the back of the bouquet would tie in and add the grassy green texture.
I also used the Gloriosa to design a statement buttonhole for our gorgeous groom. Whilst the bridal bouquet is often the star of the wedding; making sure my grooms have a statement buttonhole is important too.
The beach table setting was very simple for this special occasion. So I created a simple arrangement featuring roses and lush greenery. There’s some gorgeous blue Clematis in there too, to echo the colour of the sea.
