Terms and Conditions

We aim to provide a friendly and professional floristry service that meets your full expectations; these terms and conditions support us to meet client’s expectations and help our business flourish. We hope they don’t come across as too onerous to our clients.

Delivery Service

Flower and plant deliveries will be offered on a weekly basis.

Orders must be paid for in advance via bank transfer, credit card or PayPal.

The deadline for orders will be shown on the website Shop page and social media.

Orders will be delivered on Friday or Saturday, specific times cannot be given.

Special and advance orders will be accepted subject to availability.

Please note, we ONLY deliver to the following areas in Leeds: Adel, Bramhope, Calverley, Farsley, Guiseley, Headingley, Horsforth, Otley, Rawdon and Yeadon. Check the map provided on the website or call to check if your area is covered on 07960 738190.

Delivery charges will be clearly displayed during checkout.

The image of bouquets shown is a representation of the design. We may substitute stems so not all our bouquets will be identical. Substitution may occur in the event we cannot source all the flowers as depicted in our bouquet of the week or other designs. We deliver bouquets complete with flower food and simple instructions to look after your blooms.

Description of house plants is provided to the best of our ability.

In the event that you are not happy with your order, please contact us on the day of receipt to discuss how we can rectify this for you.

Orders that received for delivery to addresses outside of our specified delivery areas (as detailed above) will be refunded minus a £1.50 administration fee to cover processing costs and bank charges. We will endeavour to process refunds within 7 working days.

Wedding and Event Floral Design

Proposals are valid for 30 days following the date highlighted on the proposal. Proposals are fully inclusive.

25% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure any booking and confirm the specified date(s) – even if the date is changed, the wedding / event cancelled for any reason, or the client decides to engage an alternative supplier. The booking fee is applied towards the contracted wedding flowers and is deducted from the final invoice.

Payment of booking fees constitutes agreement of these terms unless otherwise clearly stated.

Remaining payment must be received no less than 30 days prior to the specified date of the booking. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the invoice details are correct and meet their expectations.

Amendments can be made but if the total cost falls below 70% of the total initial quotation, Where Bees Meet reserves the right to withdraw from the contract – in this instance the booking fee will be retained.

Following the confirmation of your booking, you should arrange a further detailed consultation approximately 6 weeks before your wedding day / event to finalise arrangements and discuss any last minute changes. Charges may apply. Charges may also apply for site visits.

Any changes made to orders must be submitted in writing by the bride, groom or appointed acting party. We order your wedding flowers approximately two weeks before your wedding date, dependent on type of flowers chosen. On this basis, it is not possible to make any changes after the order has been placed without additional fees. We will however try to accommodate small changes where possible to accommodate your needs.

Cancellation charges are applicable as follows.

  • 9 months or more before event date: Booking fee retained, no further payment required
  • 6 – 8 months before the event date: Booking fee retained, and an admin fee of £150 required
  • 3 – 5 months before the event date: Booking fee retained, and 50% of final amount payable
  • 4 weeks – 3 months before the event date: Booking fee retained, and 75% of final amount payable
  • 4 weeks up to event date: Booking fee retained, and full amount payable.

In the event of a wedding / event that has been booked and booking fees paid requiring to be postponed or dates and times needing to be changed, Where Bees Meet, will be as flexible as possible to this situation. Clients are advised to contact us as soon as possible of any postponement being likely, or indeed known, so that further arrangements can be discussed.

Failure to notify us of any potential date change in a timely manner can incur a further administration fee of £75.

In the event of a postponement of more than 3 months from the previous date, it may be necessary to review any previously submitted proposals and costs outlined. The client will be responsible for any uplift in prices due to new event dates being arranged and market fluctuations in the intervening period.

Whilst we endeavour to make all deliveries within sufficient time before the event, we cannot be held responsible for any unexpected events that may occur which are beyond our control. We will do our best to make alternative arrangements should this happen. In this event, refunds will be at our discretion.

Where Bees Meet prides itself on a professional floristry service and makes every effort to provide any exact varieties or flowers / foliage that has been discussed. Sometimes, however, due to circumstances beyond our control – such as extreme weather or supply issues – it may be necessary to substitute.

All supplied mood boards and sample images are for illustrative purposes only. These are aids to support client decision making regarding the possible style and composition of their chosen wedding flowers.

Where Bees Meet reserves the right, without penalty or cancellation by the client, to alter the style and shape of vases, pots, sundry items and display articles should any required items become unavailable prior to the event date.

All hired items are subject to a £200.00 deposit (or otherwise stated). The client is fully responsible for all damaged or missing items and the cost of all such items will be deducted from the deposit at full retail value. The deposit will be returned in full on safe collection or return of all Where Bees Meet property. The client is wholly responsible for submitting bank details (account, sort code and bank name) for this to be undertaken. Failure to provide these details may result in deposits not being refunded.

Should the client have any issues with the quality or standard of the flowers / displays / hired items, the client must notify this on the day of receipt. Where Bees Meet reserves the right to rectify any errors on the day without prejudice. Any complaints regarding any matter cannot be accepted after the day of the event. Please contact [email protected] with a y complaint, submitting detailed photographs as required in support of any claim.

In the event that a quotation is submitted more than 10 months’ in advance of the event date, we reserve the right to review our quotation ahead of the final payment. Any amendments will take into account the availability of certain flowers / foliages and fluctuations in market prices.

Unless otherwise agreed, Where Bees Meet will be provided with high resolution images of wedding flowers taken by professional photographers commissioned by clients within 2 months of the wedding date. These will be used on our website, social media channels and printed materials.

Payment for wedding and event bookings accepted by BACS only.
