It was such a joy to be part of Beth and Jamie's wedding day - such happy memories. I've been finding it hard adjusting to what is the new normal in these tricky times. My focus has been on keeping in touch with my 2020 brides and grooms and helping them through the inevitable postponement of their wedding days.

As one of bride-to-be said to me, it was a much better idea to postpone and still have the amazing day they were hoping for with everyone there who should be. Can you imagine how much more amazing all those postponed weddings are going to be?!?!?! (I can't think about it, I'll get way too emotional!!!)

When you start out, you put everything on the line. It feels like it's not just about my floral designs; but that people are buying into me too.

If I don't secure those bookings, it feels like people didn't like me.

But I decided long ago, that I can only be myself. I cannot pretend to be someone I'm not. If people I meet don't appreciate my passion for flowers and my willingness to do the best job I can, then they're not my people.

I also refuse to scrimp on quality. So I buy the best flowers so my couples have the best results. I won't compromise on that either!
